EASY PEANUT BUTTER M&M FUDGE
This fudge is seriously the best fudge ever! I love sweets and peanut butter so this fudge was an obvious choice, peanut buttery, creamy and delicious. What a way to kick off the Halloween season with some Easy Peanut Butter M&M Fudge! I promise you're going to love it!
Ingredients for Peanut Butter M&M Fudge
You only need seven simple and inexpensive ingredients to whip up this perfect homemade Halloween fudge. It’s a budget-friendly recipe that you’ll love making! Plus, you likely already have some of (if not all) of these ingredients in your kitchen.
- Peanut Butter – Any brand should do the trick, so just use your favorite. Also, use creamy not crunchy.
- Sugar - Plain white granulated sugar is called for here, nothing fancy!
- Butter – it’s best to use unsalted butter.
- Evaporated Milk – This helps create the creamy consistency for the fudge.
- Marshmallow Fluff – This is one of my favorite ingredients! It helps create the sweet flavor and decadent, velvety consistency of fudge.
- Vanilla - Pure vanilla extract will always give you the best flavor.
- Halloween M&M's – They balance well with the peanut butter.
How to Make Halloween Peanut Butter Fudge WIth M&M's
Start by lining a 13x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper or you can spray it with cooking spray. Set aside.
Combine butter, sugar, and milk in a heavy saucepan. Bring the pan to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly. This won't take long so make sure you stay close.
Reduce the heat to medium and continue to stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until fully melted.
Add jar of fluff and vanilla, beat until well blended and fluff is fully melted and combined. Fold in candy immediately.
Fold in candy immediately. Spread in a 13x9 inch baking pan, greased or lined with parchment. I like to put the fudge in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares as big or small as your heart desires and serve!
Do I Need To Chill Fudge?
Chilling the fudge helps it set up nice and quickly, so you can cut it into pieces and eat it faster! The fudge will be pretty soft and might not hold its shape if it is left out at room temperature for too long, but that won't affect how delicious and creamy the fudge tastes!
How To Store HomeMade Peanut Butter M&M Fudge
If you plan on eating the fudge within a couple of days, you can store fudge at room temperature. Line a container with parchment paper, make sure the container has an air-tight lid. This will help keep the fudge from drying out. You can find my favorite baking dish with a lid by clicking here.
If you think it will take more than a couple of days to eat this fudge then keep it in the refrigerator in an air-tight container.
You can always freeze this fudge as well. To freeze fudge, wrap each piece of fudge in parchment paper and then wrap it in plastic wrap. Put the wrapped pieces in a freezer zip-lock bag it will keep in the freezer for 2-3 months. To thaw, pull a wrapped piece of fudge out of the freezer and leave it on the counter until it's thawed.
